Currently, I am active in Chicago’s Jewish Council for Urban Affairs, which works in coalition with a variety of progressive organizations for social justice; my particular focus is with the Police Accountability Committee. I am also active at Lakeview Pantry, which is part of the Greater Chicago Food Depository. I am part of a group providing emotional, educational and other support to a Syrian refugee family which immigrated to the US in later 2016. I volunteer extensively in local and national political campaigns
At Germantown Jewish Center, Philadelphia, PA, I served on the Board as a member of the finance committee; I was a member of the Social Justice Committee and participated in a successful campaign to education GJC members and join the city-wide inter-faith POWER committee which works for racial and economic justice; I held governance positions in other synagogue committees.

Spending time with my new granddaughter; kayaking; quilting and other crafts; reading mysteries; walking/hiking; traveling
